The CLS-Class stylists made good use of the freedom they were given to indulge in emotive and creative design work.

From the start, fascination was given priority over functionalism. The result is a long and elegant vehicle with infectiously appealing lines and large overhangs front and rear.

Typical coupé features include the low greenhouse area and high shoulderline, the arching roofline, the sweeping rear and the frameless side windows. The uncluttered overall appearance is further accentuated by the extremely sparing use of chrome trim throughout the body area.

In the interior the CLS-Class features exclusive materials and comfortable, high-class appointments. In this way the CLS-Class creates a new coupé style which is original and clearly differentiated.
