The technicians of the “Silver arrow” put in a great effort for the new generation of paints for Mercedes-Benz. After years of research and development a special scratch-resistant paint system for automobiles was developed for the first time for Mercedes-Benz. This material-which is standard on the S-Class is three times more resistant to scratching compared to hitherto used transparent lacquer and thus makes an essential contribution to the car retaining its beautiful looks over a long time.
